Our Gurukulam
The JJK Gurukulam is located at a vantage point 8 kms north-east of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) in Vattiyoorkavu near Natanagramam in the South-Indian state of Kerala.
Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati
Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati, the disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, was born in january 1971, in Thrissur, the cultural capital city of Kerala. After completing his formal education, he became an inmate of Bhoomananda Ashram,Thrissur. At the young age of 19 he performed seva there as well as studied Sanskrit. After spending five years there he left for the Himalayas and wandered as a mendicant in search of a guru (master/teacher) and had the privilege to learn the Hindu scriptures at the feet of the great traditional teacher of Vedanta, Swami Dayananda Saraswati for more than a decade.
In 2003 he was initiated into the sannyasa order (monk order). Since then Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati has been imparting the teachings of the Hindu scriptures and explaining the tenets of Indian philosophy and Yoga to the seekers all over India and abroad.

Our goal is to find enough sponsors for all the 365 days of the year to run this Gurukulam. This contribution helps us to cover a part of that day’s operating expenses including meals, utilities and maintenance.
