FIRST NATIONAL RETREAT OF APPLIED YOGA THERAPY
Description:
During this 15 days of intensive and presential training, participants will be able to socialize and learn yoga and ayurveda techniques to fight their pathology (see addressees).
Both, Yoga and Ayurveda (the life science) support a comprehensive and holistic system where illness shall be treated fighting not only the physical symptoms but also its inner origin.
Practical trainning will take place in an atmosphere of internal and external harmony. Thus, diet will be vegetarian and there won't be allowed cigarettes or alcohol in the farm. Participation will be compulsory and intensive for all activities: workshops, theorical classes and guided therapeutic practices of yoga. At the end of the 15 days participants will be able to use a group of techniques that will allow them to continue their therapeutic practice in a self-sufficient way.
The event will be coordinated by Prof.Dr. Agashe
Shriram, director of the yoga academy KJ Sommaya, Bombaim and
Yogacharya Ananda (Dr.), yoga master and yoga therapist.
Adressees: anyone proved to be suffering of one of the following pathologies: Asthma, Nasal allergy, Diabetes, Hipertension,
Obesity, Stress, Anxiety. Participation on this program will be pending on previous interview.
Place: Algarve, Monte Mariposa.
Date: 16 to 30 August.
Registration: Until the 30th Abril 2009. (Limited number of places).
